During this Kite & Sail Camp in Sardinia, thanks to the constant Mistral between North Sardinia and South Corse, you will kite and wing from a sailing catamaran in unconventional and secluded kite spots, perform kite/ wingfoil downwinds and open sea passages, improve IKO Safety Procedures and learn basics of sailing navigation in the Strait of Bonifacio Area.

The Camp starts in Cannigione-Olbia and the catamaran will sail between North Sardinia and South Corse looking for the best spots and conditions for kite sessions, lessons and coaching. We will kite in Olbia area, La Maddalena area, Porto Pollo area, South Corse, Strait of Bonifacio area


During this Camp The Action Cruise provides coaching & tips on how to kite and wing from a sailing catamaran, managing unconventional kite spots, kite/wing downwinds, kite/ wing open sea passages and IKO Safety Procedures.

Lessons, tips, coaching and procedures comply with IKO requirements.

The Action Cruise Kite & Sail Camp in Sardinia is open to The Action Cruise Members with an intermediate/advanced kiting level. Max 1 beginners, It is possible to welcome more beginners in case of groups of kiters requesting a Camp with the entire catamaran.

KITE FOIL, WING FOIL AND DOWNWIND

Kite foilers and Wing foilers are welcome on board, all the spots are foil friendly,

Kite / Wing downwind passages are possible for expert riders, hopping from island to island followed by the catamaran.

CAMP’S AREA

The Action Cruise Kite & Sail Camp in Sardinia will start from Cannigione. The Catamaran will sail between North Sardinia and South Corse looking for the best spots with the most favorable conditions for kite sessions, lessons and coaching.

Olbia area, La Maddalena area, Porto Pollo area, South Corse, Strait of Bonifacio area.

Itineraries are not binding and the actual itinerary can be adjusted by the skipper because of unforeseen circumstances or other reasons like wind and weather conditions.

The catamaran will arrive in the marina or the evening before the last day or the morning of the last day

 

WEATHEr and wind statistics

During spring and autumn the Mistral wind is strong and reliable, providing endless days of kitesurfing between North Sardinia and South Corse.

Mistral is the dominant wind in the area blowing from north-west with an intensity between 15 and 35 kts.

If Mistral is off, East/South East Winds can blow opening other secret spots.

A long 3 or 4 mm wetsuite is adviced for cold days.
